EFFICIENCY OF THERAPY BY SIOFOR (METFORMIN) CONCERNING DISPLAYS OF THE METABOLIC SYNDROME AT PATIENTS WITH OSTEOARTHRITIS

The estimation of clinical efficiency of treatment with siofor (metformin) patients with osteoarthritis and metabolic syndromeis spent. 68 patients are surveyed, all patients have been divided into 2 groups: control and the basic. In the basic group patients along with pathogenetic treatment of osteoarthritis received siofor 500 mg х 2 times a day. Thus it was possible to reach decrease in level of the general cholesterol, triglycerides, cholesterol-LPLD, an index atherogenosis, urinary acid, glucose, weight reduction and index of weight of a body, stabilisation of a BP and depression of expression of a painful syndrome and number of the swelled up a little joints in the absence of collateral reactions. Thus, therapy by siofor is safe and effective concerning the basic displays of a metabolic syndrome
