FEATURES OF NUTRITION AND EATING BEHAVIOR OF RESIDENTS

Volynkina A.P., Kurguzova A.S., Volynkina E.A.

Abstract

As in the whole world, the number of people with obesity is increasing in Russia, and active weight gain occurs during the period of working age itself. The article presents the results of a survey of residents on the topic of proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. To identify eating disorders, the DEBQ questionnaire: "Types of eating disorders" was used. It was revealed that 73.9% of the residents surveyed have eating disorders. A significant proportion of residents exclude breakfast from their diet, do not monitor the quality of the food consumed, and the majority of young people have a habit of late going to bed. Most of the students with eating disorders are overweight and obese. The survey data allow us to judge the lack of a dominant healthy lifestyle among young people, which can serve as a harbinger of health problems in older age.

PREVALENCE AND SEVERITY OF DRY EYE SYNDROME IN PATIENTS WITH MYOPIA AT THE AGE OF 13 TO 22 YEARS

Avdeev R.V., Starikova M.A., Maksimenkov A.T.

Abstract

This article presents a study aimed at assessing the prevalence and severity of dry eye syndrome (DES) in patients with myopia in the age group 13 to 22 years. The study was conducted on the basis of Voronezh Ophthalmological Center LLC in 83 patients (166 eyes) aged 13 to 22 years with confirmed myopia. All patients underwent an ophthalmological examination with Schirmer and Norn tests, and completed the Ocular Surface Disorder Index (OSDI) questionnaire. The survey revealed an increase in the number of patients with mild and moderate DES, depending on the degree of myopia and to a greater extent at the age from 18 to 22 years. Schirmer's test showed an equally high level of tear production in all groups of patients. The tear film rupture time in patients with high myopia was shorter than that of weak myopia, and this dependence was more pronounced in the group of patients from 18 to 22 years old. The data obtained allow us to draw conclusions about an increase in the degree of subjective and objective manifestation of dry eye syndrome, depending on the age and degree of myopia.

ANALYSIS OF THE ROLE OF SANITARY AND EDUCATIONAL TRAINING OF PARENTS ON THE ISSUES OF PERSONAL HYGIENE OF THEIR CHILDREN IN VORONEZH

Kolomatskaya V.V., Ledneva V.S., Razuvaeva Y.Y., Pertsva M.V.

Abstract

The formation of the reproductive system begins in the antenatal period, further passing through important stages of development in childhood and adolescence. Its formation is influenced by many pathogenetic premorbid factors: mother's diseases during pregnancy, pathological course of childbirth and the neonatal period, the presence of chronic infections and extragenital pathology in a child, as well as hereditary burden, social - living conditions and non-observance of the rules of intimate hygiene of the child. Pre-nosological diagnosis of problems of the reproductive system in children, first of all, should be carried out by a local pediatrician. But not always during a preventive medical examination, the external genital organs of the child are examined, moments of educational activities of a pediatrician among parents on issues of intimate hygiene and reproductive health of their child are missed. A feature of the pathology of the reproductive system in children is the fact that it can be asymptomatic and can be detected only with a thorough examination. One of the factors that can prevent the development of inflammatory diseases of the external genital organs in children is the health education of parents about the issues of personal hygiene of the child.

Baranov I.A., Titova L.A., Tolstykh E.M., Ivanova A.S., Lipovka A.L., Goncharova A.Y.

Abstract

The article presents data from the experience of using an artificial intelligence (AI) program, with the aim of further assessing the possibility of introducing AI into the working practice of a radiologist, optimizing work with fluorograms and workload and resource costs. With the spread of radiation diagnostic methods, the amount of workload on radiologists has increased significantly. The constant process of digital processing in medicine allows the use of more and more new technologies in various fields of medicine. Additional research is needed for the further implementation of artificial intelligence in the radiologist, but we can say, that AI is already able to transfer part of the load that facilitates the doctor's work, as well as improve the economic situation by reducing the resource base of healthcare.

REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH OF HIGHER SCHOOL STUDENTS

Venskovich D.A.

Abstract

Reproductive health in the life of university students is of great importance in the formation of a harmoniously developed personality, physical and moral health, physical activity, etc. The conducted research shows that in recent years, there has been a systemic deterioration in the reproductive health of students. In our opinion, this is due to the organization of health care and the maintenance of a "new" lifestyle for students. The problem of reproductive health is relevant not only in the Republic of Belarus, but also abroad. The main reason for the problem lies in the fact that modern student youth are not sufficiently aware of the issues of personal hygiene, interpersonal relations, poorly know information about where to get tested and receive qualified assistance.

THE EFFECT OF WATER ENRICHED WITH HYDROGEN ON THE STATE OF THE BODY IN CHRONIC FATIGUE

Cherkashina E.A., Berezhnova T.A., Dyadina K.S., Kuzmenko N.Y., Kulintsova Y.V.

Abstract

A complex of adverse factors leads to excessive formation of oxidants in the body and disruption of the functioning of cells, tissues, organs and systems. The state of the body, in which the destructive effect of oxidants exceeds its own protective antioxidant capabilities, is called "oxidative or oxidative stress." Our study assessed hydrogen as the only antioxidant capable of easily breaking the blood-brain barrier and actively influencing CNS structures. The study involved students who were divided into three groups. The first group took regular water 3 times a day, the second group - 3 times a day water enriched with hydrogen and the third group - control. According to the results of the study, as a result of the reception of hydrogen-enriched water, which was taken by the second group, the indicators improved significantly. Therefore, hydrogen-enriched water can serve as an additional means of preventing chronic fatigue.

FEATURES OF THE MODIFYING EFFECTS OF URANIUM INCORPORATION IN THE REACTIONS OF COMPONENTS OF THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

Vorontsova Z.A., Kudaeva E.F., Selyavin S.S.

Abstract

Depleted uranium is of considerable interest when it is incorporated from the perspective of prolonged effects. The ingress of depleted uranium oxides with water into the internal environment of the body causes concern according to the results that determined its endogenous cumulative radiotoxic effect. The presented materials of an experimental study conducted on 35 white mongrel male rats, of which 27 were control rats. The experimental rats were fed an aqueous solution of depleted uranium oxides once instead of water. The long-term period of the study of fragments of organs - the parotid gland and jejunum-was one, three and six months on paraffin and cryosections. In the jejunum, when stained with hematoxylin and alcyan blue, data on the state of the intestinal-associated lymphoid tissue of the mucosal barrier were obtained. In the parotid gland, in histochemical reactions to SDH and LDH, the optical density and the area of change in the excretory ducts relative to the control were determined on the basis of Image analysis. It was found that the effects after the incorporation of depleted uranium had a modifying radiotoxic character on mucosal immunity and the density of parotid gland secretions.

THE PROBLEM OF ASSESSING THE NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY AT THE OUTPATIENT STAGE

Razuvaeva Y.Y., Ledneva V.S., Kolomatskaya V.V.

Abstract

Infantile cerebral palsy (ICP) is a group of stable disorders of motor development and posture maintenance, leading to motor defects caused by non - progressive damage and/or abnormality of the developing brain in the fetus or newborn child. Assessment of nutritional status in children with cerebral palsy (CP) presents certain difficulties, is a necessary and significant part of the treatment and rehabilitation of this complex group of patients. A comprehensive assessment of the nutritional status of children with cerebral palsy should be performed by a pediatrician at each outpatient appointment. Unfortunately, there are currently problems in assessing the nutritional status of children with cerebral palsy at the polyclinic stage of medical care: according to our data, only 6.2% of doctors assess the nutritional status of children with cerebral palsy. Also, at the moment, the fact that most pediatricians use the centile method to assess physical development is a problem, and a decrease in the frequency of anthropometry has been revealed, which, in most cases, is associated with the technical equipment for performing the manipulation.

Bocharin I.V., Martusevich A.K., Gracheva A.A.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to evaluate the parameters of systemic hemodynamics in students of the russian and foreign departments of the Privolzhsky research medical university. The study included 48 russian students, as well as 54 students studying at the faculty of international medical education. To register ECG and analyze hemodynamic parameters, we used the" Medical Soft "sports testing system (MS FIT Pro version, Russia). Standard hemodynamic parameters (blood pressure level, pulse rate, stroke volume, cardiac output, etc.), statistical and spectral parameters of heart rate variability, as well as an integral criterion of microcirculation status were used for monitoring. The presence of sufficient adaptive reserves in both groups of subjects was revealed, but foreign students have a lower arteriole tone, a greater risk of arrhythmogenicity, higher intensity of microcirculation and a predisposition to moderate bradycardia.
