PNEUMONIA AND VIRAL B HEPATITIS

Provotorov V.M., Velikaya O.V.

Abstract

Pneumonia, occurring against the background of chronic viral B hepatitis (НВV), has its own etiological and pathogenetic features, prolonging its course. Apparently, НВV-infection, just like HIV-infection, is followed by immune deficiency. Cellular and humoral components of immune system, involved in pathogenesis of chronic viral B hepatitis, are identical with respiratory tract protective system and are closely connected between them.

ACOUSTIC PARAMETERS OF VOLUNTARY AND INDUCED COUGH IN HEALTHY PEOPLE

Semenkova G.G., Provotorov V.M., Lozinskaya Y.A., Sichyov V.V., Ovsiannikov E.S.

Abstract

Earlier we examined the time and frequency parameters of the cough sound in patients with bronchial asthma comparing them to induced cough of healthy people using the method of spectral tussophonobarography. Different substances are used to induce cough in a healthy person: hypertonic chloride sodium solution, citric acid and red pepper. Still in many healthy people this provocation does not cause any cough. The objective of the investigation is the comparison of time and frequency parameters of voluntary and induced cough in healthy people. The cough sounds of 91 volunteer students (45 women and 46 men) aged 20 to 25 years old were analyzed. The sound parameters of voluntary and induced cough in people of one sex were found not to have any differences. So it is purposeful to induce cough only in case a person under examination does not perform properly the voluntary cough maneuver. The frequency parameters differ in men and women, which should be taken into consideration at time and frequency analysis of cough sounds.

CLINICO-IMMUNOLOGICAL AND ECOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF DIABETIC RETINOPATHY PATHOGENESIS AND TREATMENT

Stukalov S.E., Schepetneva M.A., Kornienko V.N.

Abstract

296 patients with diabetic retinopathy (DR) were examined with the use of conservative therapy and retina laser coagulation. Ecological situation of the Region was analyzed along with its effect on the incidence rate and immune status of patients with DR. Environmental sanitary conditions and the level of man-made pollution influence both the morbidity rate and immunity state. The treatment of patients included immunocorrective drugs - T-activin, sodium nucleinat and blood laser irradiation. In the course of retina laser coagulation it is purposeful to administer sodium nucleinat and blood laser irradiation in combination with the complex therapy applied for patient aftercare, T-activin is used in conservative treatment of patients to correct ecological exposure.

Urakov A.L., Ovchinnikova E.N., Alhazova R.T., Pertseva N.A., Urakova N.A.

Abstract

The novel method has been suggested meant to relieve spasms and to treat stomach pathology. It implies that preliminarily the affected area is identified in the stomach (for example, with the use of fibrogastroscopy), two positions of the body are found so that in one position the affected area is located below, and in the other position it is located above the remaining internal surface of the stomach. After that 100-150 ml of water, cooled down to air temperature, is taken on an empty stomach in the bottom position of the affected area, the epigastric area of the patient body is pressed repeatedly and discontinuously for a short period of time, then the body is turned over to place the affected area in the top position and to stay like that during certain period of time. The treatment results have shown fast healing of mucous inflammation.

MODELING AND PREDICTION OF HEALTH STATE DISTURBANCES IN WOMEN, EMPLOYED IN METALLURGICAL INDUSTRY TAKING INTO ACCOUNT INDIVIDUAL SOCIAL AND HYGIENIC CONDITIONS

Bodrova S.A., Klimenko G.Y.

Abstract

There is an efficient method to minimize informative parametric redundancy - the method of “discrete correlation series”, which implies the development of parametric series, having considerable similarity symptom, and consequent substitution of these series for the single (leading) parameter, having the largest value as regard to the others. For instance, women, employed in Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, aged 31, having vocational education, which corresponds to the standardized assessment score (0.588), with the mean score of work difficulty, unsatisfactory welfare standards, not taking alcoholic drinks, not having chronic diseases and satisfied with the quality of medical services will have the prognostic assessment score of their health state 0.31, which is 0.17 points lower than the “satisfactory” level and is located between the levels “satisfactory" and “good in general”. For women-workers aged 60 years old, having vocational education as well and mean assessment score of work difficulty, satisfactory financial position, consuming alcohol drinks on holidays, having chronic diseases and satisfied with the quality of medical services the prognostic assessment score of their health state will be 0.58, which is 0.1 higher than the “satisfactory” level and is positioned between the "satisfactory" and "unsatisfactory" levels.

IMMUNE DISORDERS AND THEIR CORRECTION IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC SALPINGOOOPHORITIS IN ITS REMISSION STAGE AFTER ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY COMBINED WITH OZONOTHERAPY APPLICATION

Zemskov A.M., Korotkih I.N., Kuzmenko E.L.

Abstract

Antibiotic therapy management after surgery was found to cause certain immune system suppression and lymphopenia in women, suffering from chronic salpingooophoritis in its remission stage. Additional application of non-drug correction using ozonized physiological solution eliminates in many respects the negative after effects of treatment, improves the life quality of diseased women and decreases the risk of development of immune disorders and disease recurrence.

HEALTH STATE ASSESSMENT OF BABIES WITH NEONATAL HYPERTHYROITROPINEMIA AT THE FIRST MONTH OF THEIR LIVES

Shiriaeva L.I., Roschupkina N.N.

Abstract

The influence of neonatal hyperthyroitropinemia has been studied on the postnatal period and infant health state assessment. The level of thyrotropic hormone in capillary blood was identified in all newborns. 114 newborns with neonatal hyperthyroitropinemia were examined (thyrotropic hormone - 10,71±3,52 micro units/liter) and 88 infants with thyrotropic hormone level up to 5 micro units/liter (thyrotropic hormone -3,04±0,9 micro units/liter) - control group, р<0,05. The examination results have shown that most newborns with neonatal hyperthyroitropinemia had different health disorders during the first month of their lives. The pathology was identified in 85.9% of babies of the main group, in the control group this index was considerably lower, (p<0.01) and made up less than 64.8%. Babies with neonatal hyperthyroitropinemia were more often born in condition of asphyxia and had disorders of postnatal adaptation. Babies with neonatal hyperthyroitropinemia develop considerable health disorders, among which perinatal disturbance of CNS is registered most often, conjugated jaundice with prolonged course, anemia and infectious diseases, specific for the perinatal period.

EARLY HORMONE ADAPTATION OF BABIES, DELIVERED BY CESAREAN SECTION

Ippolitova L.I.

Abstract

The subject of examination included the course of early neonatal period and the level of Т3, Т4, ТТГ and cortisol in the blood of babies, delivered by cesarean section, performed under different types of anesthesia. It was found that: early adaptation in all the groups of babies was much worse after cesarean section compared to infants born in normal labor, which was proved by the morbidity structure and the level of adaptation hormones. The most favorable condition of the first week of life was observed in babies after surgical delivery with the use of spinal anesthesia. Late lactation and high rate of hypogalactia was found in women after the scheduled cesarean section performed under endotracheal anesthesia, which aggravated the adaptation period in babies, complicated by itself, and required properly managed hospital observation.

INFLUENCE OF ANTENATAL APPLICATION OF CORTICOSTEROIDS ON SURVIVAL AND MORBIDITY RATE OF PREMATURE NEWBORNS

Kaledina E.Y., Logvinova I.I., Usachyova E.Y.

Abstract

The study has shown the influence of corticosteroids, administered in antenatal period, on adrenal function and survival rate of premature babies. Cortisol blood level and its excretion with urine, tested on the first and third days in both premature and full-term infants, treated with corticosteroids and not receiving them in antenatal period, revealed the absence of adrenal function suppression. Courses of antenatal corticosteroid therapy do not cause disorders of early metabolic adaptation of newborns (according to the content of glucose in blood serum and К+ and Na+ in urine), and do not affect the weight and growth of babies after their birth. The survival rate of premature babies, receiving dexamethasone in antenatal period is considerably higher, than of babies, not administered the therapy. The survival rate predictors include the dose and the duration of treatment with dexamethasone, the weight of a baby during birth, assessment according to Apgar score on the fifth minute and the method of delivery. Administration of the full treatment course dose of antenatal corticosteroids one week prior to delivery is the best optimum.
