THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS OF THE CITY OF VORONEZH

Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of quality of life using the brief questionnaire WHOQOL-BREF of 893 students of the first three courses of Voronezh State Medical University, Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies and Voronezh State University of Architecture and Construction. General indicators of the quality of students life of Voronezh State University of Architecture and Construction and Voronezh State University of Engineering Technology statistically significantly higher than students of Voronezh State Medical University (82.4±1.15 and 82.1±1.24 versus 79.7±1.22 respectively, p<0.05). Students of Voronezh State University of Architecture and Construction have the most available nutrition and are most active lifestyle of the three comparable Universities.

Abstract

Since 2008 on the territory of the Voronezh region in the framework of the "Regional target program of development of health of the Voronezh region in 2011-2015" is being implemented the program of modernization of urological services field. Along with personnel changes, the creation of a 3 - level system of rendering of medical aid to the patients with pathology of the urinary system, a mandatory stage of modernization was the training of specialists. To help doctors urologists, specialists, primary care to understand the basic questions of etiology, pathogenesis, modern diagnosis, methods of treatment and prevention of urological and oncourological diseases, employees of the Department of urology and andrology idpo VSMU them.N. Burdenko, the Programme was developed by educational training course "Modern aspects of diagnostics and treatment of prostate diseases" for doctors- primary care (internists, General practitioners, surgeons), with the term of development of 72 hours.During the implementation of the training program, have achieved improvement of theoretical knowledge in etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of prostate diseases, primary care physicians (General practitioners, doctors, physicians, surgeons, clinics and hospitals), which in turn has helped improve early diagnosis of diseases of the prostate, reduced the number of running forms benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer.

Abstract

In recent years an integral part of the educational process is distance education, this trend can be traced in medical schools. Given the high labor intensity of doctors in the workplace, lack of time, remoteness of medical institutions from the educational, a promising direction of development of education is distance learning. Employees of the Department of urology and andrology idpo developed a distance learning course "Current issues of urology" is part of the certification cycle of professional development 216 hours. The article analyzes the possibility of remote courses of improvement of qualification for doctors of urology. The introduction and wide spread of distance learning as part of classroom courses and independent learning courses of improvement of qualification makes them attractive and are the most economical compared to traditional courses.

Abstract

Issues in higher medical education and problems of training medical personnel are constantly in the spotlight. The dominant element of the national system of education is continuing professional education. Rapid scientific and technical progress, accelerating the pace of social change determine the need for improving the quality of higher medical education. Issues and the effectiveness of training on cycles of training must be considered with the science of adult learning - andragogy. Kompetentnostnyj approach involves the activity of students in the educational process. Postgraduate education and advanced training of medical personnel in modern conditions is impossible without the implementation of information and communication technologies. Thus, the modern system of training of doctors on cycles of improvement of professional skill, needs to instil in students the need for independent continuous learning professional knowledge and skills. This trend will allow future professionals to rise to a higher level of quality in their professional activities contributing to competitiveness in the labour market and contribute to the creation of possibilities for further professional and career growth in their chosen field of activity through the increase of motivation for studying the subject.

Abstract

The investigation of the concentration of attention was carried out in 2 groups of the physician anaesthetists during their professional refresher courses using the special tables with the rows of Russian letters and the Bourdon-Anfimov technique. The interpretation of the results showed clearly that those of the refresher courses’attendants, who had been got rid of their professional all-night duties during the refresher course showed much better concentration of their attention in comparison with those physician anaesthetists who had to proceed with their night work.
