This is due to long-term exposure to small concentrations of these substances. With the help of ultrasound, the size and shape of the gallbladder can be estimated; Thickness, density and contours of its walls; The presence and nature of formations in the cavity of the gallbladder; The diameter of the common bile duct, the thickness and density of its walls, the presence of formations in its lumen; The presence and extent of ectasia within the hepatic bile ducts.
