The publication is devoted to a culture of blood donation among students of medical university. The article discusses the main methods of donation propaganda such as the increase of the number of voluntary donors, the formation of an adequate and permanent contingent of voluntary donors and the attraction of young people to socially positive action. The paper indicates the organizing stages of the donation work with students and adults. The publication reveals the peculiarities of working with the persons of underdonation age, the development of the main stages of donor movement in Russia are considered. The long-term proper handling of student audience can strengthen the institute of donation, making this procedure the part of the life of the active, responsible, healthy people.
