The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy of a group integrative psychotherapy (GIP) with medical care as usual (UMC) in 59 patients versus single UMC in 68 individuals for hypochondriasis. At the end of the therapy there were significantly (p&lt;0,05) lower levels of anxiety, depression and health-related anxiety.
