HIV detection rates vary both across regions and within each region, among different populations. The purpose of the work is to identify gender differences in the detection of HIV infection during screening studies in the Voronezh Region for 2020-2025. The materials were official reports on the Rosstat form No.4. Results. There are significant differences in HIV detection rates between women and men. In general, there is a decrease in the detection of HIV infection as the coverage of testing increases. In key populations, men are more likely to be tested and detected by immunoblotting. The detection rates by gender are comparable to the incidence rates in men and women.
